Al Gharib will be donating all profits from the 'AG01 - LE BEIRUT' Art Fund to the following organisations:
- Proud Lebanon
Proud Lebanon is a non-profit, non-religious, non-political, non-partisan civil society organization that aims to promote sustainable social & economic development in Lebanon and the region and is working to achieve protection, empowerment and equality of marginalized groups through community service activities.
Proud Lebanon is dedicated to building a healthy empowered community in Lebanon and the region, where people are effectively empowered and participate in democratic processes that affect their lives and their communities.
- Anera Organisation
Anera, which has no political or religious affiliation, works on the ground with partners in Palestine (West Bank and Gaza), Lebanon and Jordan. We mobilize resources for immediate emergency relief and for sustainable, long-term health, education, and economic development. Our staff serve in their communities, navigating the politics that constrict progress to get help where it’s needed most.
That’s how Anera delivered more than $100.4 million in programs in 2020 alone, and it’s how we will keep building better lives until hope finds its way in the Middle East.
- Embrace Lebanon
Embrace is a non-profit organization (NGO) which works to raise awareness around mental health in Lebanon. Embrace launched as an affiliation with the Department of Psychiatry at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) back in 2013. As of 2017, Embrace branched out as an independent Lebanese non-governmental organisation (NGO), not affiliated with any institution.
Embrace seeks to better inform the community about mental illness, break the stigma, provide support to those affected, and help foster a resilient and emotionally healthy community which cares for the mental well-being of its young and old.
